WP3: Development of Microfluidic Exposure Cells

This Work Package aims to develop:

  • A method to create a gas-tight seal between Si NW FETs and structured glass covers the performance of the Si NW FETs after integration in a microfludic cell.
  •  A microfluidic exposure cell integrated with the Si NW FET chip enabling breath and tissue headspace analysis.
  • An interface for the stand-alone ‘NA-NOSE’ between the microfluidic exposure cell and the fluidics system and electronics.
  • An enhanced exposure cell functioning and reduced costs, by investigating alternative fabrication techniques.
