WP4: System Design and Integration of a ‘NA-NOSE’

The sensing measurements during the LCAOS project will be carried out by two main systems.  The first system will be used for laboratory tasks, mainly for the development and characterization of the Si NW FET sensors. The second system will be a stand-alone configuration and will be used for the detection and identification of volatile biomarkers in a clinical environment. This WP aims to develop:

  • An improved electronics for Si NW FET readout.
  • A suitable sampling system for breath analysis with Si NW sensors.
  • An integrated of Si NW FET chip and micro fluidics flow-cell with electronics and sampling system.
